What LeaseKit is
LeaseKit is a software tool that generates landlord documents tailored to the rules of specific US states. You pick a state, pick a document type, answer a short form, pay, and download a PDF.
What LeaseKit is not
LeaseKit is not a law firm. The documents it generates are templates filled in with your inputs. Using a LeaseKit document does not create an attorney client relationship, and nothing on this site constitutes legal advice for a specific situation.
Your responsibility
You, the user, are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for determining whether the generated document fits your situation. If real money, an active dispute, or a rent regulated unit is involved, consult a licensed attorney in the relevant state before relying on a LeaseKit document.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Pricing is shown per document on the checkout page. Refunds are available within seven days of purchase if the PDF was not delivered or contains a material defect, via email to support at leasekit.io.
License
When you purchase a document, you receive a license to use that single generated PDF for your own property management purposes. You may not resell or redistribute LeaseKit generated documents.
Limitation of liability
LeaseKit is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeaseKit’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for the document at issue.
Changes
These terms may change. Continued use of LeaseKit after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
