How many days pay-or-quit notice does Florida require?
Florida requires 3 days for pay-or-quit under Fla. Stat. 83.56(3), 7 days for lease violations. The notice period starts the day after service. The notice must be written and include the amount of rent due, the deadline, the property address, and the landlord's signature. Serving by personal delivery, certified mail, or posting (where state law allows) counts as valid service. An incorrectly drafted or served notice voids the subsequent eviction.
