How Florida handles the deposit return.

Florida splits the deadline: 15 days for full return with no deductions, 30 days if withholding any amount. The withholding notice must be sent by certified mail with itemized deductions, after which the tenant has 15 days to object. Bad faith triggers treble damages plus attorney fees.
